Artificial Mythology is an art project by artist, composer and filmmaker Bob Vanderbob. 
Initiated in 2010, it aims at conjuring landmarks - both physical and metaphorical - in a modern mythscape.

The Artificial Mythology project comprises a series of multimedia installations, performances and events, staged worldwide at prestigious venues such as Centrale for Contemporary Art (Brussels), The ArtWarehouse (Phoenix AZ), Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles (Paris), thePrague Quadriennal, The International Carnival and Mask Museum in Binche (Belgium) and the Donjon de Vez (Oise, France).

Artificial Mythology installations include Mr Generic Tries On The Masks of God, Fecundity, Offspring, Dreaming Hive, Excavation and At Home in the Universe.
