Cyclone Harry clean-up
Fallen trees, obstructed paths, broken walls, damaged works of art...
Plenty of work awaits a team of AHO-Art volunteers who will spend three weeks working in Porto Conte Regional Park to clean up the destruction caused by Cyclone Harry in January 2026.


The Ring in Marble Falls, TX
In November 2025, Bob Vanderbob visited Quaise's test drill site in Marble Falls, TX, and presented The Ring project to City of Marble Falls representatives, including John Packer, Mayor, Christian Fletcher, Director of Economic Development Corporation, Erin Burks, Downtown and Marketing Manager, Caleb Kraenzel, City Manager, Lacey Dingman, Director of Parks and Recreation, and Jake Eason, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation.
Various possible sites for the construction of The Ring were visited for evaluation.

AHO-Art Residencies
In May 2025, three art projects were welcomed to a 10-day residency in Porto Conte Regional Park (Sardinia, Italy).
Graphic-novel writer Thierry Smolderen and world-music manager Michel Winter teamed up to develop the screenplay of an animated feature-film about the Taraf de Haidouk saga (1990-2010).
Artists Bob Vanderbob and Thomas Delord worked on The Ring in Marble Falls TX, a monument to the coming deep geothermal energy revolution.
Alexandre Duriau (researcher at ULB University Brussels) worked on three scientific articles on the bronze-age period.

e-Galaxy in Brisbane
Presented at the State Library of Queensland in January 2025.
An immersive installation built together with children, adults who joined artist Suzon Fuks to pull apart old computers and e-waste, and transformed them into a giant galaxy that revealed the intricate circuitry that powers our daily lives.
Beautiful Men at the 2025 Oscars
Beautiful Men, directed by Nicolas Keppens, was nominated at the Academy Awards 2025 for best animated short.
Three balding brothers travel to Istanbul to get a hair transplant. Stuck with each other in a hotel far from home, their insecurities grow faster than their hair.
This year, the ceremony included a presentation of an Academy Award of Merit – an Oscar statuette – to broadly recognize “all the individuals who have developed and supported captioning technology, whether open or closed, for film.”
The statuette will reside at the Academy Museum.
AHO-Art goes to Rwanda
A group of creative practitioners engaged in the AHO-Art project in Porto Conte Regional Park (Italy) traveled to the Akagera and Ruhengeri parks in Rwanda during the last months of 2024 as part of an exchange initiative organized by Des Airs Productions. A fruitful dialogue took place with local artists, conservationists, academics and historians. A visit by Central African artists to Porto Conte is scheduled to take place in 2027.
